- Increase the amount of your daily physical activities. Walk a kilometer for a day or
more, and double it on weekends.
 - Avoid, temporarily, any activities which have strong connection to your smoking. If
you’re used to smoke after eating, don’t stay for long near the table after the meal,
get up and take a walk. If you usually smoke while watching the TV, during parties
etc., give up these activities for a while.
 - Find a temporary replacement for cigarettes (bubble-gum, sugar-free candies, thin
slices of carrot or celery etc.).
 - When passion for smoking rises, try this breathing exercise: let your body relax,
inhale the fresh air slowly and deeply; after filling your lungs with as much air as
you can without feeling uncomfortable - count to five and exhale the air very very slowly.
 - Prepare yourself with something to occupy your hand with.
 - Drink allot, mostly recommended orange juice, even if you’re not thirsty.
