The First Day:
Afternoon

For some ex-smokers (and you are now included in that group - an ex-smoker) this is the most difficult time of the day. In these hours you are tired, nervous, and your head might even hurt.

If this is your feeling than you need now to take a look at the list you’ve made before - the list against your smoking. In these hours of the day you might as well take a look at your daily record card (where you wrote the exact time and reason of every cigarette you’ve smoked during the day). Now you should remind yourself that you are the one who wants to quit. Take a glass of juice, get out if you can or stand by the window and breath deeply. Go and visit some friends, or call them - speak to people who are also ex-smokers. Remember: the best medicine for people who try to quit smoking is to constantly speak about their problems as much as they can.
