Stage 3 (Third Week)
Attack your "sub-habits" from the smallest to the greatest. That is, decrease your
smoking amount by deciding "I will not smoke after dinner"... "I will not smoke while
talking on the phone"... etc. During this cut off, "defrost" your habits which are
connected with smoking. This thing can be done in several different ways, like: start
smoking a different type of cigarettes, change the place you keep your cigarettes
(another pocket, another drawer), hold the cigarette in the other hand (not the hand
you’re used to hold it with), smoke the cigarette in a different angle, don’t keep a
lighter or matches in your reach, hide the ashtrays and use glasses or bottles instead,
don’t smoke in the usual condition, etc.
