Stage 2 (Second Week)

Smoke only those cigarettes you want to smoke. Try to smoke only out of will and necessity. You’ve got to be aware of every cigarette you smoke. Continue writing down every cigarette you smoke. In the end of this week, it may be assumed that you’ve cut down your smoking in a significant measure. You’ve probably reached half or even third of your average daily smoking amount. There are some smokers who find it hard to decrease the amount or to diagnose the smoking situations - smokers who smokes automatically, according to the time. Those people too has to make an effort and to cut off on their smoking, even if their achievements are poor.

In the end of the week you’ll recognize all of your smoking states. Those states are "sub-habits" in your personal smoking patterns. Make a list of those sub-habits, for example: while drinking coffee, after the meal, while watching TV, while writing, when tensed, etc.
