Smoking damages the lungs and the defense mechanism of the lungs every time a smoker inhales. The smoke which enters the lungs cause a chemical damage to the lungs' tissues. The cleaning cells, which remove alien particles from the air bags of the lungs, are weakened.
Continuous exposure to the cigarette smoke (active and passive smokers as well)
weakens the enzyme which preserves the flexibilty of the lungs, and by that increases
the chances to develop Emphysema. This disease called Emphysema causes great difficulties
in breathing and motion. Emphysema = DEATH!
In addition, the condition of the lungs affected by smoking can be developed into lung
cancer. Lung cancer = DEATH!
